As I am sure most of you will agree we need some serious moderation. As a result if you are interested in being a moderator here please let us know. Include why you would make a good moderator and what you consider the differences between a valuable post and spam. We will review the posts of those who are interested and select two people in a few weeks for a 1 month trial to see how it goes. As a moderator, in addition to earning your normal credits you will receive credits for each item you moderate whether it be deleting it or moving it to a more appropriate location in the forum.

We are now testing the iiStore and need some help. We have created a test Wii Points card in the store that lists for 5 credits. The first 10 people that go in to the store and redeem 5 credits for the test card and return to this thread and comment on what worked and what didn't will receive 50 credits.

Please note, we are only asking for 10 people. Anyone that goes in after that and tries it will just be losing points.

Nintendo has announced a game-creation service designed to allow developers to add their own content to the Wii Shop Channel.

The Wii Software service will allow new game content to be sold directly to Nintendo Wii users as downloads.

"Wii Software paves the way for smaller, more creative games to make their way to the public at lower prices without any inventory risk to developers," said an official Nintendo statement.

The initial version of Wii's Opera browser became available late in 2006. They followed up with the full version of the browser in April 2007. Since then many webpages have adapted themselves for Wii users and a recent web based game for Live Free or Die Hard was even designed with the Wii in mind. Today, Opera Software warned Wii owners that the free grace period for its Internet Channel browser will end on July 1st.

Owners can download the final software version now at no cost for the life of the system.
